1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or engaging CodeStep Technologies for services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Services

CodeStep Technologies provides web development, mobile app development, digital marketing, SEO, UI/UX design, and brand identity services. All project scopes, timelines, and deliverables are defined in a signed Statement of Work (SOW) or project proposal agreed upon before work begins.

3. Payment Terms

All projects require a 50% upfront payment before work commences. The remaining balance follows the milestone schedule defined in your SOW. Monthly retainer services are billed at the start of each month. Delayed payments may result in project pauses.

All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and exclusive of applicable taxes (GST). Invoices must be settled within 7 days of issue.

4. Revisions & Change Requests

All projects include a defined number of revision rounds per milestone. Changes to the agreed project scope after work has commenced may incur additional charges at our standard hourly rate (₹2,000–₹4,000/hour depending on the nature of the change).

5. Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of full payment, all custom work created for your project becomes your intellectual property. CodeStep Technologies retains the right to display completed projects in our portfolio unless a signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is in place. We retain ownership of proprietary frameworks, tools, and libraries used in development.

6. Confidentiality

We treat all client information as strictly confidential. We do not share your business information, strategies, or data with third parties. Clients may request an NDA before project commencement.

7. Timeline & Delays

Project timelines are estimates based on prompt client feedback and content provision. Delays caused by late client approvals, content delivery, or change requests are not the responsibility of CodeStep Technologies and may extend the delivery date accordingly.

8. Warranties & Liability

We warrant that our work will be performed with professional skill and care. We do not guarantee specific business outcomes (such as search rankings, revenue, or app downloads) as these depend on factors outside our control. Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in question.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the engagement with 30 days' written notice. Work completed to the termination date will be invoiced. The upfront payment is non-refundable if termination occurs after work has commenced.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
